August 22- Concerts in the Park
Music, wine, and good times — the Paso Robles Concerts in the Park series offers free concerts to the public in Downtown City Park Friday evenings through the summer season. Bring your blankets, lawn chairs and picnic baskets for this staple summer occasion. Enjoy the sounds of country, blues, rock, and other genres from local bands. Wine available for purchase onsite from J. Lohr., and proceeds benefit the REC Foundation.
September 7- Pajama Party Movie
It’s pajama party time in Paso Robles! Don your best pajama outfits during this annual fundraising event. A $10 ticket gets you popcorn, soda, and a vintage movie on the big screen at Park Cinemas. Enter the PJ contest with the chance to win prizes. Kick back, enjoy the movie and stay cozy!
September 20 – Arte De Tiza
Downtown Paso Robles transforms into an artistic palette of colorful beauty during the annual Arte De Tiza event. Chalk artists will converge on the city park to showcase their talents. Observe works in progress, converse with artists or bring your own chalk art supplies to show your own artistic creativity.
September 20 – Taste of Downtown
Sample food from Paso Robles restaurants and wineries and “take a taste of downtown” that you won’t forget. Experience the savoriness of what downtown Paso Robles has to offer and relish in this annual event that invites merchants to open their doors for one-on-one sampling. This is a great chance to get re-acquainted with downtown Paso Robles or discover what you’ve been missing.
October 11 – Pioneer Day Parade
Paso Robles’ heritage tradition comes alive in and around downtown during the annual Pioneer Day event. Bring the whole family to downtown for this historical event that includes a parade, free bean feed, and daylong activities including antique/classic car judging, children’s pet show, little cowboy/cowgirl contest, whiskerino contest, horseshoe pitching contest and much more. Be sure to wear your Pioneer Day pin, or you might get thrown in the hoosegow!
October 25 – Golden Oak Honey Festival
Fall is in full swing, so what better time to relax in the “pass of the oaks” than beautiful October, when fall colors show their brilliance? Bring the entire family to city park for the Annual Golden Oak Honey Festival featuring antiques, collectibles, arts, crafts, food and children’s bounce house. Free admission.
October 31 – Safe & Fun Halloween
Trick-or-treat in downtown Paso Robles with local area merchants during the Safe and Fun Halloween Downtown. Ghouls, ghosts and the Main Street witches will be on-hand for this wildly popular Halloween event that promises to be safe and fun for children of all ages. So don your scariest costume, come downtown and take part in the fun!
